In 1994, AVAPE began its activities in the food sector, so as to service its internal operations. The service provided then expanded into the industrial meals market, restaurant management and operation, snack bars and kiosks, offering 26,000 meals a day within partner companies like Ford do Brasil, Volkswagen, Mercedes-Benz, among others.

In 2007, based on a new strategic positioning aimed at making its social actions self-supporting the organization set up AVAPE NUTRE, which provides companies with complete, made-to-measure solutions for restaurants, snack bars and kiosks.

AVAPE NUTRE is worthy of further note for its Food Production Center, which provides job opportunities and professional development for persons with and without disabilities.
