AVAPE has received a certificate of participation in the Responsible Partnership Program, in the Large Company category. The program aims to develop commitment to Excellence in Management and Social and Environmental Responsibility among companies who are Petrobrás clients and suppliers.
Cultural and Philosophical Cross of Merit- 2008
The Executive President of AVAPE, Sylvia Cury, received the Cultural and Philosophical Cross of Merit Recognition Master Award for her role in providing services to persons with disability, from the Brazilian Society of Philosophy, Literature and Learning, through the Brazilian Chamber of Culture.
Britcham Ball - 2008
AVAPE was the organization of honor at the 10th anniversary of the British Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Brazil, during the institution’s traditional gala ball in Brazil – the Britcham Ball.
The ODM Brazil Award – The Brazil Millennium Objectives 2008
A world pioneer initiative, the award is presented by the Brazilian government, with the support of the United Nations Development Program (PNUD). AVAPE received the award for its practice of Social and Professional Inclusion of persons with disability.
Imortal In Vitta Award- 2008
The Executive President of AVAPE, Sylvia Cury, was awarded the title of Immortal of the Greater ABC region in the “In Vitta” category, in recognition of her professional performance and throughout the entire organization.

The ADVB – The Association of Sales and Marketing Managers of Brazil Award seeks to recognize organizations whose actions are dedicated to social development as a fundamental factor for growth.
1997, 2000 and 2003 Highly Efficient (Bem Eficiente) Award
This award aims to publicly recognize entities that operate in an efficient manner, based on criteria like: transfer of resources, transfer, efficiency, organization, finance, legal compliance and third-party validation, according to an evaluation process carried out by PriceWaterhouse Coopers. AVAPE received an award at the first and two other consecutive editions.
Solidarity Training Program - XXIX Youth Training Project Competition - 2002
AVAPE received the Certificate of Participation with Merit, for the Informatics means Citizenship Project: Let’s Get To It! Of the 341 proposals enrolled, the AVAPE project qualified among the 124 best.
Itaú-Unicef Award – Education and Participation 2001 – The Right to Learn
The Itaú-Unicef Award, held every two years, identifies, supports and strengthens initiatives by civil society organizations that directly or indirectly benefit the full development of kids and adolescents from low-income families, contributing to quality public education. AVAPE was cited among the 150 Semifinalists, with the AVAPE Living Together Center Program.
Vote of Congratulations – Diadema Municipal Chamber - 2001
AVAPE was honored by the Municipal Chamber of Diadema, highlighting the important benefits provided to the population with the PUMA - AVAPE Mobile Unit Project (free computer classes in a specially adapted mobile unit).

Comenda Grã Cruz de Ouro Award- 1998
Award created by the SINDHOSP – Union of Hospitals, Clinics, Health Centers and Clinical Analyses and Research Laboratories of the State of São Paulo to honor organizations which stood out in providing health and charity assistance.
Public Opinion Award - 1998
Awarded by the Regional Council of Public Relations Professionals – 2nd Region - São Paulo/Paraná, the award highlights projects developed in a competent, creative and professional manner. Volkswagen do Brasil took the award through the ANDAR Project, undertaken in partnership with AVAPE.
II Unibanco Health and Medicine Award - 1998
This award seeks to give prestige to Brazilian medicine through the development of scientific studies at Brazilian universities and institutions. AVAPE qualified as Finalist in the Social category, with the “Professional Placement of Persons with Disabilities at AVAPE” Project.
Eco Award - 1993
An award given by the American Chamber of Commerce, its purpose is to recognize and promote, on a nationwide scale, social action projects developed by private companies in the fields of culture, education, the environment, and health and community participation. Volkswagen do Brasil won the award with AVAPE Project in the Health category.
